What's This About?

I've heard people talking about this, and at one point, it just plain caught my curiosity. Being that it involved one of my interests in life proved to be even more convincing to me that I would probably enjoy this. And so the seed was planted and on January 1, 2013 I began my project of taking a picture every day for the entire year.

First things first, I felt it would most likely benefit me if I actually consulted with someone who had embarked on the same assignment and learn the ins and outs based on their own experiences. It so happens that a co-worker had recently been involved in the same sort of thing, and I took advantage of her input. Feeling confident and prepared, I proceeded with my plans.

Most of these photographs are taken on impulse and don't necessarily follow any one theme or subject. The only thing they all have in common is me and people, places, and things that I may come in contact with in my everyday life. By the way, the project title is self-explanatory, being that I will be turning 70 later this year.

The blog will be updated daily. Please feel free to click on any photo for a larger view. Hope those who visit will enjoy and feel free to leave a comment.
